Default Scabies

Hello

I contracted scabies in Peru wearing mud boots provided by the lodge to go into the amazon jungle in Nov 07. I found 6 big swollen welts with a pimple in the centre. They were extremely itchy. Later that night i found another one on my right side of bottom. I suspected the bed sheets was infested with the mites.

In late february 08, i started breaking out rash everywhere, my hair, scalp line was lined up with all these pimply dots. The worst part was affected was the soles of my feet. The itch was so intense that i had very little sleep each night. I had seek treatment from using Permithrin but it was too harsh on my skin..and cleared most of my skin by using a cream containing manuka oil, tea tree, lavendar and lemon myrtle oil. I later saw a naturopath and asked her to prescribe Psorinum for persisting itching and crawling sensations on head and feet. I took it for a month with two doses at 200C. 1 dose was 5 drops. It got worst for two days straight, I felt like it came back or something. I was suggested to stopped taking Psorinum and seven days later, i went back to it.

I took Psorinum 200C 1 dose of 5 drops every second day. This got worse again, with new pimplely dots surfacing on new areas and the original areas affected. I have been on this for two weeks now and now its been three days I'm off it.

Its the first time , my naturo path is treating someone with a scabies condition. I don't know what to think if i'm fully cured or still infested. My foot is badly inflamed right now(plus itchy more than ever and slight crawling sensations) and i noticed the skin has gotten thicker. I take it this is dead skin caused by the mites and i have been peeling from time to time, when i felt the mites has gotten deeper under the skin and making tunnels. I have been using the manuka oil cream and sometimes Neem oil on the hair and under foot. My head itches mildly and it feels like something's crawling on me. As for the feet, i would apply neem oil twice a day and wear sock and wear a plastic bag over it before wearing my shoes in. I have noticed my feet sweats alot and it makes the skin soft and white looking.

Please tell me whats going on here? is psorinum doing its job?

Please note: as i was on psorinum. I was taking herbal tonic, prodopilis, fish oil and one supercritical neem extract pill per day

Psorinum is a homoeopathic remedy not naturopathic
If you are taking it with many other medicinal substances like herbal tonic etc, surely you will not ensure complete action of psorinum.
If you think yo are benefitted by psorinum, please wait and consult the same Dr.
Cleaning of the part is the most impotant thing in case of scabies

Do you speak this from experience?

I was on the verge of malnutrition, my gums were bleeding and i wasn't eating right and was stressed out at work. The herbal tonic was to boost my immune system. I don't see how that would interfere with the works of psorinum?

If you are comfortable with present treatment you can continue.
In homoeopathy we will give psorinum alone if the case is that of psorinum. (Experiensed physicians will understand whether the case is psorinum or other medicines)
There are lot of food restrictions, especially those with medicinal values will affect homoeopathic medicines. So when taking homoeopathic medicne it should be alone without admixture of herbs, tonic etc.
We can cure many types of skin ailments with this method

I understand that your dr is a naturopath ,giving homoeopathic remedy with his herbs and tonic, that is their method and if you have relief you can proceed.

Otherwise, the most advisable method is to consult a 'hompath' in person
