Toddler w/ Eczema
My 26 month old daughter who hasnt been vaccinated has red, dry, itchy ezcema on her wrists, a little in her elbow fold. My daughter has always been on a wheat-free diet and Ive always used 7th Generation laundry soap, no fabirc softener or drying sheets. I tried a gluten-free diet for 2 months w/o much imrovement. Her eczema started about 6 months or so ago when Autumn became cold around here (CO). Ive been to a homeopath, naturopath, nutritionist and was told she cant absorb Magnesium and Calcium so she is on Blue Bonnet, Gaba, DHA/Fish oils, homeopathic mouth spray, dairy free and still not much improvement. Her behaviour is more calm than before and better bowel movements, but her wrists still itch are red and sometimes she has flare ups on her collarbone area. After bathing (not daily) I massage her w/ pure Coconut oil (cooling) and rub her wrists w/ diluted neem oil+ zinc based diaper rash cream (Burts Bees). Im thinking of removing eggs and seeing what happens. Im disappointed I cant get rid of this suffering for her. Any suggestions? Is is a food allergy, contamiinated water or toxins in the blood? Ive heard about this Chinese medicine a mix of 5 chinese herbs, anyone try it?
