I have recently been diagnosed by a dermatologist as having lichen planus. My prescription is for a cortisone cream that relieves the itching. Is there a homeopathic solution for this problem? I have it in my mouth, on my legs, ankles and feet, back and lower arms and hands. I am so afraid it will spread to my hair. I have had it since approx. 2 months now.

HI Sandra,
YEs good homeopathic treatment that is based on finding a single remedy similimum to your individual case will definitely help you and should cure Lichen Planus.
Work at finding a well reccomended classical homeopath in your area and if that is not possible consider online help.
I wish you all the best,
doctorleela

Dear Sandra,

Okay, so the good news is there are atleast 10 different remedies that can be used as a cure. the bad news: we need additional information from you to pick the right one.

For starters tell us the following:
Who you are (just describe yourself in simple words)?
Age?
When did the symptom first appear?
Did your lifestyle change at the time the symptom appear (it could also include eating a different kind of food)?
What is the color of your urine?
do you have breakouts on your skin...please describe it in detail

We will have a lot more questions of you but for this will give us a start.

Warm regards.

Hi Sandra,

I am assuming that your breakouts are reddish-purple, flat-topped bumps that are very itchy.

Please confirm.

avoid garlic, ginger
avoid nuts (all kinds)
avoid citrus juices
avoid tomato products
avoid caffeinated drinks
avoid crispy foods

Do you have open sores in your mouth?
