i am writing about a nine month old girl conceived by icsi methode by a 54 yr old
lady after hormonal replacement post menopause.
she was delivered by lscs at 8.5 months due to reduced foetal movements. on the first day itself she showed symptoms ofmeningitis and was admitted at amrutha hosp for about 2.5 monts. they couldnt identify the organism but csf sugar was low and proteins high.
presently she has developed hydrocephalus and three attempts to put shunts failed.she is taking three types of anti convulsants and med to decrease csf production.even then she is getting convulsions as the ict raises
have u got experience treating cases with post meningitis hydrocephalus?
i was thinking of apis helleborus and hedera helix
any suggestions?

The convulsion may be the effects raised ICT.
It will be controlled only when the intracranial pressure reduces.
You should go for the symptoms of the present state to control.
Apart from the reemedies you quoted, study Solan nig,Apocy,Baryt C,Arn,OEnanthe,Bov etc. Tub is another remdy but not this stage.

regarding that case i will go thru the med s u mentioned. the child is presently gone for review at eklm.
