I am simply exhausted trying to battle eczema on my 4 yr. old kid. I've tried homeopathy and it worked one time for a year and then didn't help. We are going through an ayurvedic treatment right now. But I would love to know any Dr.'s who have cured eczema in kids.
Thanks Gupta

In my experience I have seen eczema treated and cured. It is also my experience that it could be quite time consuming and often difficult to treat, and that many of the "quick help" remedies like cortisone is so attractive to use, but complicate the case so.
My advise is to be patient, and look for a good qualified homeopath to help you.

hello gupta,
Eczema can be cured by homoeopathy. It is a chronic disease and take some time to cure. The relief will come after few doses itself. There are some factors which aggravates the conditions. So try to find out and avoid.Usually it is aggravated during winter. And it will show some aggravation for 2 or 3 seasons even during treatmnt. So consult a good hompath and continue the treatment.

I am having faith in Homeopathy but it has been 3 weeks now and with no difference in his itching or inflammation at all.
His homeopathy doctor gave him: Alfalfa – 20 drops in half cup of warm water at night. Psorinium – 5 pellets in the morning. Cryotis – 5 pellets in the morning for the first 10 days and then added Graphites Pentarkan, Ptk 50 – 4 pellets at night. His itching is extrememly intense at night. I would like to know if these medicines sound right to homeopaths on this board? His face oozes a lot all by itself. THe rest of the body is extremely dry with dry patches all over.

HI Gupta,
We don't prescribe like this. Generally a single remedy (similimum) is prescribed at a time based on the complete history and if required the remedy is changed as the symptom picture changes. In my experience, eczema responds very well, but just a little patch still remains and never completely leaves. The important thing is that we avoid "suppressing" the expression to allow deeper diseases to develop. Look for a reccomended homeopath who prescribes as I told you above. doctorleela [ 23. Dear Gupta,
Many remedies will complicate the case and it will become incurable.Perfect cures are achieved by single indicated remedy and proper repetition when needed. It is simple to treat especially in childeren.

Dear fellow members,
Thank you for your advice. I was scared after learning from most of you that trying more then one remedy might do more harm than good. I am now consulting another homeopath and have told my previous homeopath about the change in medicine recommendation. While I await for his response, I would very much appreciate if some of you could give your opinion on the following regement. Mezerium 30 First Dose :Mix one drop in 4 teaspoonfuls of water for one dose Give one dose empty stomach after cleaning the mouth well with plain water. Second and Third doses: In the afternoon and in the evening. Nothing to be taken half an hour before and after the medicine. Second Day : First dose is to be replaced by Merc.sol.200 and administered in the same manner as done for Mezerium the previous day. The afternoon and evening doses are for Mezerium as in the previous day. This process will continue day after day Thankyou Gupta

I am back again asking for help to seek some advice. While we were waiting for Merc Sol and Mezerium to reach us from India, our US doctor gave us heper Sulpher and silicia.
On third day of Heper S and Silicia his face started oozing less and less with no oozing after day 3. It also started getting less inflammed. But I didn't see this dramatic difference in his other body parts. We couldn't believe our eyes when we looked at his face! We tried these two medicines for 15 days and then we got the Merc Sol 200 and Mezerium 30 and as per the Indian Dr's advice we stopped the previous two and started Merc Sol and Mezerium 30 after giving a 4 day gap according to the routine mentioned in previous e-mail. The oozing came back after 8th day, though not as severe as before. His leg rash has reached up to his knee and it oozes too at times. Most at night. My heart tells me to go back to Heper Sulpher and Silicia. Do you think that will be a good idea? Or I should not be changing homeopathy medicines frequently? While the Indian homeopath dr. wants some more answers on how is rash is doing on other body parts, I am also waiting for a reply from my US homeopath. Can few people from this board please advice if I should have stuck to the first round of medicines or the second round is good choice too since eczema has not come back with the same force as it was before? Please ask me any question if my post is not clear. I appreciate any responses.
