Anyone heard of keloid acne presenting in a white Caucasian male only on back of head and back of neck. He has been told it only happens in people with a black skin and is very unusual. Naturally I will attempt to find a constitutional Rx but he has asked me if it could be helped with homeopathy.

We can cure it with our treatment.This condition only occur in men and the favorite spot is nape of neck also known as sycosis nuchae.This ia staphylococcal infection affecting hair follicle and underlying tissues about the border of hair in the back of neck.Irregularly raised thick fibrous band can be seen in that area.Some cases are benefitted by thuja,calc flour etc

That is exactly what it looks like!! I haven't been able to find anything about it so thanks for that. If it is a staphylococcal infection what about this in potency as I even think I have some that I used once on someone!! Have you actually managed to get rid of the problem even though it is very well established and been there for years?

yes I have cured it.Even though it is due to staphylococcal infection,the appearance of it is just like our sycosis manifestation.calc flour,anagallis,sil,thuj ,hydrocot etc found beneficial .staphylococcin in potency in intercurrent(I never used)is a good idea.
If you got no clue to the patient's symptom then you can go for the appearance of the disease manifested.

Well if this man ever comes as a patient I will let you know what happens. I suppose it will depend on how I do with his daughter who I have already seen and his wife who is coming next week!! I would start by prescribing on the mental and emotionals and hope that the remedy that appears includes some skin problems in the provings.

Hi All,
I must have done well with the wife and daughter as I had the husband with the keloid acne in today. He also has diverticulosis controlled by a high fibre diet. I actially gave him Oleander 30 because he mentioned agg oranges and I started looking at the Rx in Clarke as I couldn;t rep it very well. It has a lot of his stuff in it like thirst for cold water (not in my rep) , worse at night and there are diarrhoea symptoms. He has a problem with writing in that he often leaves the first letter out and then goes back and writes it. he got the 30 potency as i didn't have any other!! I was thinking about him taking Calc Flouride Tissue salts as well. What do you all reckon? Have also asked him to use Juglans Nigra (Walnut husks) herbal tincture topically. The appearence of the acne is of a very raised red lump of about 15 cms square. This is the keloid bit. Around the outside of this are individual spots some active and pustules. The whole thing is very itchy worse entering a warm room or in the sun. He is usually a room person - has a ruddy complexion but can get chilly phrases.

Underneath I think there is maybe Nux but he is very fastidious. He is volatile in that he can shout at people but then it is over and finished.

I was thinking of using Thios 6x for the scarring but only when the active acne has stopped which it hopefully will.

Thoughts on the above very welcome!!!
