I have Lichen ruber planus on my arms and upper torso. I already received UV-treatment and a cortisone-based ( ) salve, which only worked temporarily. Does anyone know of a homeopatic/dietary remedy for this condition?

The dermatologist I visited said that this condition is usually caused by beta-blockers or similar medications - I don't take any medication!
Any information which may help would be most gratefully received.

The lichen ruber planus started around August 2004 for no apparent reason (worried, etc.), and as I stated in my opening post, I do not take any medication whatsoever (only Schüssler salts, Vit. C and ema).

Homoeopathic concept is wholostic. Hahnemann had written in organon, that no eruptin or even a simple whitlow or any skin complaints cannot arise without the knowledge of whole organism. The whole organism is sick prior to the formation of eruption itself. At that time or even today itself the medical world has the openion that skin disease is somewhat local and no relation to the man as a whole. So their treatment wa s direcred towards elimination of the local complaints or eruptions by ointments or cauterisation etc.

So even for skin complaints hompath has to take whole case in details as the treatment is internal alone. So you have to consult a hompath personally, and he will take your whole case and prescribe. As your case is not much suppressed the chance of cure is more.
