My daughter is having white patches on her right foot and chest(size about 1 inch ). Presently she is undergoing allopathic treatment. Results are not encouraging. Could someone advise me whether Homeopathy has a cure for this disease.

Thanks in advance

Sanjeev

It is a good idea to consult any homoeopath in person, but right now I am in Boston, USA and I dont know any homoeopath practitioner around.

Can someone help?

Sanjeev

My son developed vitiligo one month after TB vaccine (age 7). He had it around eyes and ears, chest, elbows and knees and shins. First treated with Thuja - developed warts on the face, which went after month or so along with vitiligo on face. Gradually went from chest and elbows, the shin area - it used to move around, close up one area and move to adjacent, bit like amoeba.
Because it was some time ago and I was new to homeopathy I can't say what remedies followed after. He still has small patch on one knee but he is not concerned about it and it gets smaller. He is 15 now and probably we could have pushed it along and cleared it sooner but he wasn't concerned and not life threatening. He recently had silica and I think it has improved even more.
Am I correct in thinking Leucoderma is any loss of pigment in skin and can be fungal, treated with fungicide in allopathic medicine or, can be vitiligo which is untreatable in allopathy.
Vitiligo seems to emerge after shock of some kind, certainly my son went into shock after vaccination. Have heard of people developing vitiligo after getting burnt, famous case of Michael Jackson, but also some local cases in hospital.
Allopathic doc. wanted my son to take medicine from France, very expensive and said he would have to wear sunglasses outside as it makes their extremely sensitive to sunlight. That did it for me!!

Sanjeev,
If you can't find a homeopath any other way, look into the yellow pages and find someone with CCH certification. They are classically trained and certified homeopaths.

Fistral
Thumbs up

Dear Angela, I am glad your son has recovered most pigment. You were absolutely right not to take the medication offered - I was given the forerunner of that over 30 years ago and received 3rd degree burns from going into UK January sun! Something tells me it hasn't got any better! Although my homeopath is aware of my vitaligo, it has not really come into matters as I have lived with it for so long, and have not thought it could be cured (actually, I have not really thought to make a big thing of it but perhaps I should). So, thank you for your post, I am now inspired to do something about it!

Dear Fistral,
Do you remember what the events were surrounding the development of your vitiligo?
We live in probably one of the hottest places
on earth, besides Kuwait and I'm sure he would have been fried
Good Luck
Angela

Wink

Thanks Angela, you've got me thinking now! It is possible the vitaligo came about as a result of UV treatment (not PUVA - that was not invented then!) which caused 'sunburn'. Your reference to burning leads me to put two and two together. Otherwise I can't pinpoint anything in particular.
The original 'paint' I was given for the vitaligo was possibly better than the pill which came later because at least it localised the treatment. The exposed bit (just above sock) did recover pigment after the burning - bit of a drastic measure though! I am appalled you were offered this in your part of the world, as in UK it was only used in months when the sun is limited.

Fistral, unfortunately you see a lot of incompetence.
It's very frustrating that doctors can get away with all kinds of incompetence, yet if people here wish to take responsibility for their own health and see a homeopath, legally it isn't accepted.
regards angela
