this is a 41 years old woman who has a history of many courses of antibiotics and it would appear that her immune system over the last few years has been compromised by the allopathic prescriptions of antibiotics and steroids for summer asthma after hayfever.

She is a sharp witted intelligent woman who lacks self esteem and and suffers from anger and anxiety from anticipation. She has suffered two incidents in the last 18 months causing great grief.

She suffers depression from stress. During the 18 months past she has suffered what I now believe to be ringworm under her left armpit almost continuously with itching/burning of the affected skin. This seems to recur at times of stress. I think that she is Aurum Arsenicum constitutionally and she has been treated with this. she has in the past few days treated herself with bacillinum 1m.

She also takes many dietary supplement to try and assist the healing such as Multi B vitamins, acidophilus, calcium and magnesium.

Does anyone have any help that they can give with regard to the possible treatment, she is depairing of ever being rid of this problem.

On the info given I would be looking at a calc esp. c.carb, c.sil and c.sulph.
Have you read the proving of ringworm in Sankaran and how the miasm fits between psora and sycosis? Psora with its anxiety and sycosis with its fixed state of despair of recovery.
Is this a layer been brought out by her previous remedies?

Just thinking out loud but it may help you.

Thanks to both of you.

Anti persp already gone a while ago, never really thought of calc although I was thinking of Nat Mur. I haven't read the proving of ringworm but would be interested to see it does anyone know where I can get it?

As she has only just taken the Bacillinum 1m and she says it is improving v.slightly I may leave it alone for the few days over the holiday and see what happens and then take a view.

any other thoughts you have would be gratefully received.

Update:

It would appear too much Bacillium taken, became snappy and very angry and weepy, she was asked to drink coffee to counteract, OK then tried calc sulph and to report back, it actually got much worse. Burning red and weeping clear fluid.

She took a lower dose (200c) of Baciilinum and this seems to have improved it again.

Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks

Thought I'd post some more details to see if we are on the right track with this bacillinum.

Family history:
Mother died of benign brain tumor almost two years ago, very traumatic for her.
Father still alive.
Maternal GM died of aneurysm aged 82
Maternal GF died late 50's respiratory illness (unknown)
Paternal GM respiratory illness all of her life eventually killed her
Paternal GF died of pneumonia/old age in 90's

Personal history:

Sickly child, pleurisy several times, (many xrays) measles, generally unwell a lot.

Eldest of four children, and had to take on caregivers role early (5or 6) to assit mother with three children under 5.

Even now still has to help and assist family they come to her for all sorts of help and guidance which she gives happilly but complains later.

She has two children both natural births, very sick during pregnancy (nausea vomiting for approx 6/7 months of both pregnancies)lost weight during this part of pregnancy.

Trouble with periods, cramps that start up to a week before period and last two days into period, other than that unremarkable and 5/7 days.

About four years ago had ovarian cyst (right) drained no problem since.

About 3 years ago virus attacked inner ear affecting balance badly vertigo was so bad could not get out of bed for 3 weeks, treated allopathically, anti nausea drugs, overall the symptoms where ther of and on for 6 months, still gets odd time when vertigo returns.

Emotional problem started about four years ago, in very senior role at work got new boss they did not get on, felt betrayed by the company although they wanted her and did not want him they did not have anything to gt rid of him on so she got more and more stressed eventually left work because of this.

Since felt a lack of self esteem, desires respect of peers, craves appreciation, mostly from husband and family and gets angry when not given although she says how hard she tries.

She feels guilt enormously and this features a lot in her conversation.

Her emotional problems during the last 18 months have stemmed from this desire to be respected and craving apreciation and feeling guilty that she is not doing enough for others, she always puts her family first, she actually deprives herself of pleasures and does not feel able to buy herself new clothes for instance.

She can be short tempered and gets angry at trifles when she feels the world is against her and she cannot do anything right.

She likes cool showers only (no baths), dislikes wind and dislikes heat of summer, she is very fair skinned (burns in the sun very very easily)and blue eyed and she says her favorite colour is blue.

Foods: she craves bread and butter, (less so recently, she preferer savoury food to sweet and rice is a particular favourite.

She reacts badly to Salmon, and get bad stomach cramps and diarehea, very quickly after eating it.

Drink: she prefers water (sparkling) cold but not too cold and drinks in large quantities quickly, she enjoys wine and beer but prefers white wine, as she thinks she has a reaction red wine, nasal congestion and the ringworm gets worse)

She is an organiser and loves to help people out and wants very much for them to tell her how well she has done.

She desires company and is happy if someone is just in the house. She loves to travel.

In the summer she suffers from hayfever, with itching eyes itching soft pallette and eustachian tubes (says it drives her mad), and post nasla drip which gives her asthma, this then last a long times and has in the past been presribed steriod to get rid of it (at least twice this has happened. She says once she has a cough it takes a long time to get rid of it.

She tells me that she feels that her immune system has been compromised and that until recently she suffered with lots of colds and coughs, very frequently. (this is better now over the last year.
She recently emigrated to another country and was very home sick, she is getting over it now but is moving country again very soon. and she finds this stressful as she feels obliged to organise things and to do them RIGHT first time she is not tollerant of her mistakes.

she worries about money with no real cause.

Does this shed any light on the problem she is having with the ringworm which is a real problem for her.

p.s.

Forgot to say she is absolute terrfied of cockroaches and rats, talks about them and is constantly looking for them, can't even stand to see them on the tv. other thing don't bother her although she does not like dogs, she is not scared of them.

The bacillium (200c) seems to have worked up to a point, and has calmed it down considerably but improvement has now come to a stop for the last couple of days, does anyone have any advise on whether I should tell her to wait and see if the bacillium 200c has some life left in it, or would it be worth moving up to 1M, anyone any thoughts.

Thanks

Personally I would repeat the 200 first, wait a month and then go up if no further improvement and you still think that remedy is indicated.
