My 7 yr. old daughter has a skin disorder called Lichen Planus. We'd like to try a natural way of healing. Any help out there?
Thank-you.
Richard

Richard,

You need to specifically describe her symptoms along with other info. Please check out some other posts to get an idea of what info is needed to prescribe on.

Find a local professional classical homeopath who will take a full case history and prescribe a remedy tailored to your son as an individual rather than a disease name.
Someone on the BB maybe able to give a recommendation if you let us know where about in the world you live.

Barb,
My daughter is 7. She developed a dime sized mark on her left arm in April/00. It was red,
bumpy and itchy. Our Dr. said it was Eczema. We tried Hydrocortizone cream with no success. We didn't feel right about using the cream so we stopped! Since then she developed oval patches under each arm and in Sept./00 a large rash and many marks over her neck, torso and arms. It is VERY bad right now. Our naturopath Dr. said the skin disorder was Eczema and she had a Candida growth in her intestines/stomach. He suggested using a "Yeast Busters Kit" by Innovite to heal from within. My daughter is just finishing the Yeast Busters program and her skin isn't any better. She eats a well balanced diet with no wheat, dairy, or sugar.
A dermitologist first diagnosed her skin disorder as Pityriasis Rosea. A biopsy showed it was Lichen Planus. I've done some internet research and found a web-site: http://www.lichenplanus.com. They speak about a chemical; paraphenelynediamine
used in making black rubber products, temporary tatoos, and hair dyes which may contribute to developing lichen planus. Coincidently my daughter used to play on "tire" swings constantly and in August/00 she wore a temporary tatoo on her neck for a few weeks. She has been tested for allergies and she is sensitive to molds, grasses, but not many foods.
So since the spring of /00 we've seen two medical doctors, a clinic doctor, two naturpath doctors who all said it was eczema. It wasn't until the biopsy that we found out what it is and we are in limbo right now and need help. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Richard

Dear Richard,

Sounds like you are really trying to do what is best for your daughter, what with her diet and all. The info you gave is a good start but more is needed. Homeopathy doesn't work but affecting just one condition but rather adjusts the persons spirit, vital force, interior design or whatever you choose to call it, so as to be operating at the perfect level. In other words many children play on tire swings , wear tatoos but don't develop the skin condition your daughter did.

Wink

Please, dont listen to the propaganda, and advertising for pseudo homeopty.

This is a cortisone damage, not the original problem, its changed,to lichen planus, from a other type of eruption, most often the remedie for cortisone damage, is phosporus, this will require min two remedies, one after the other, but to find out, you need to fill out the questionarie found at my homepage, and either post it here,( i will try to help, if im not to loeaded with cases) or take it privately with me.
You find the link under my name here.

Thank you Barb and GM. I will inform my naturopath about your posts. Hopefully he can use some of the info to help. Unfortunately I will not be spending $$ for services over the internet. Sorry. Richard

Richard, perhaps you misunderstood GM's reply. He is willing to try to help for free if you can't afford payment, but you need to post the full case here.

Thank you to everyone. This BB has lit a fire with our naturopath. He has given my daughter a homeopathic remedy and treatment program and we look forward to her recovery. If we are successful I will post the remedy in the future. Thanks again, Richard
