Although my case is chronic, I would describe is as mild to medium rather than being severe. However, if I do not use the medication provided to me by my GP on a daily basis, the psoriasis gets significantly worse over a period of even 48 hours.

Inability to retain food-Thus do not put on weight. What I eat passes straight through my body. Have to go the toilet after every main meal.

Phlegm build up. Have to constantly keep blowing nose to clear sinus. Happens all year round.

Higher than average body temperature. Runs a few degrees high.

Nails on the feet look very unhealthy. Almost as if they are dead. Some of the nails are black, unhealthy and deformed. Other nails are a light brown grey in colour. My fingernails are fine and healthy in contrast. The nails on my feet also seem to have ridges rather than being smooth.

Fatigue during the time of 2-6pm. Feel very sleepy but suddenly feel much better after 6ish. This lethargy is despite the fact that I might have had 9-11 hours sleep the previous night. I have never been able to explain this.

The liquids I normally drink are water, unless I have to drink a tea/coffee/soft drink/alcohol as a gesture of hospitality etc. I drink 2-3litres per day and find that the psoriasis on my face is a lot less prominent when I drink this quantity of water.

I have a back ache when I go to bed at night that subsides after 2mins or so. The pain is a throbbing one that centres around my mid and lower back. This occurs only when I lie flat on my back-The pain literally disappears if I turn my body to the left or to the right. I have always found that I get to sleep much more quickly when I sleep with my body to the right. i.e right cheek on pillow and back is at 90 degrees to the mattress. Hope that makes sense. I sleep very fitfully but have very vivid dreams almost every night.

Have cravings for sweet foods such as chocolate 3-4 times a month. During which time I consume a LOT of chocolate or sweet substances. Constant necessity to keep eating. I always eat more than is necessary at the main meal times, even though I might already be full. I also have cravings for snack food. I feel very content and happy just snacking on crisps or peanuts during the day.

Subject to mood swings continuously during the day. Moods alternate between silly, talkative, quiet and sullen. Very alert during the morning but very irritable during this time. Do not feel like talking to people at all. I become the exact opposite during the evening however and feel a need to interact and socialise with people. I feel much better when listening to music in general. It soothes and relaxes me, and depending on the type of music I often feel invigorated after listening to it. My mood considerably improves in warm weather. If the sun is out I feel very good and bubbly inside. Mentally less alert as the day progresses. Have a bad memory as I easily forget names even a minute after they are told to me.

From time to time, maybe once or twice a month. I lose all power in my hands. They seem to be tingling and I cannot hold anything. I will myself to, but they will not grip a pen firmly. This happens very rarely though. I also from time to time wake up in the middle of the night and I have drenched the sheets and pillow in sweat. This seems to happen only when I put a top on so I try to sleep without. However, it has happened once a twice when I do not have a top on. Maybe something to do with my temperature?

I would describe myself as a very optimistic person, good sense of humour about everything (probably because of everything I have gone through), very laid back and does not get too stressed about anything. This is probably in stark contrast to about 3-4 years back when my case was a lot worse. My temperament is mild and I do not get phased by anything too easily.

MEDICAL HISTORY

My right eye used to twitch considerably last year/early this year when I picked up an injury to my left knee. The knee throbbed very painfully after I injured it playing basketball. This knee injury lasted about 4months but went in January. The twitch disappeared after the knee became better earlier this year.

I also used to suffer severely from cramps in my legs. The muscles in my legs would seize up and there would be an agonising (shooting) pain-like a volcanic eruption- that would last for 30secs to a minute. This would be located on the insides and backs of my thighs. The were especially severe when they occurred on the insides of my thighs. The latter occurrence became much better however after I was treated by a healer. He 'cleansed' my body such that the cramps which occurred on the insides of my thighs never happened again. However, I still get pains on the backs of my thighs if I stretch them too much.

Have suffered from Psoriasis for the past 10 years. Exact trigger for the onset of the illness is unclear. My father has told me though that it is a hereditary disease and runs in the family tree. Also suffer from a mild dry skin condition, especially to the scalp. I have to moisturise my body after a shower. The worst areas of dry skins are the back, face, legs, arms but above all the scalp. The psoriasis is worst on the scalp and is very itchy. I believe that if this is healed, the rest of the body will follow. I hope this will be the situation anyway. I have spots of psoriasis over my upper body, my back, my legs, my face and forehead and around the scalp, and around the genitalia (although this particular patch seems to come and go of its own will. I do not treat it with any ointments). I am currently on several types of medication. Eumovate for the facial area, Dovonex cream for the elbow, Nizorol Shampoo for the scalp, Diprosalic Cream for the body in general, and Oilatum Emollient for overall moisturising during a bath

I have sprained both of my ankles severely over the course of my illustrious basketball career. I have been on crutches on two occasions. This has meant that I often wake up and my left ankle is slightly sore in the morning. My ankles have in general been left quite weak as a result of these injuries. My back often feels quite tired and worn out. I feel much much better after I have been given a back massage. Seem to have a lot of pressure points that are very tense, especially in the upper back area.

I also used to suffer from severe acid indigestion. This was about 2-3 years ago. Every time I ate something like peanuts I would immediately come down with indigestion, which manifested themselves in the form of very foul tasting burps. This illness lasted about a year and a half and then disappeared.

I trust this info is useful and that you can help GM, Pannakal.

Yours Hopefully

Ben Waran

Hi, use one dose ( three pills)of Silicea one M, once, only, it works two monts, avoid camphor, and try to not use ointments, etc as a aggravation may occure, and must be allowed to go on for some time, but if tooo strong, you may, and the silicea potnece and use must then be adjusted.
keep posting that time regulary, progress or symptomes, and post after three days from taking the remedy, it should be notic'ceable i somthing happens, take note of all symptomes, new ones may tell that its the wrong remedy for you, ( only a other fit after what you have described), reocurrences of old symptomes and diseases, like a earinflamation,...will confirm the remedie.

Thank you again for the help GM.

I am now in the process of acquiring your prescription. Can you tell me though whether the hair loss is in any way related to my illness? Should I seek alternative remedies to stop it?

Regards

Ben

The hairloss is related to it, and i want that you stop all other medications, whil using homeopathy, if a suxess is to be, as cortisone prep counteract homeopathy.

Hey GM!

I took one dose of Silicea 1M yesterday (Tue 28th March@9pm) and so far there has been no real effects that I can identify. If anything the spots of psoriasis that are on my body have started to get slightly worse as I have not been using any ointments. I will keep you posted of any further progress.

Cheers

Ben

its not due to the lack of ointments, its a first time reaction, and it shows that its working, leave it be, then report back in a while.

Hi GM!

I took another dose of Silicea yesterday night to elicit some sort of response. There has still been no reaction however. Kindly advise.

Ben

Do you got teucrinum? if i want you to take one dose c12 or 30, its someting blocking silicea here. Ther is absolutely no reactions in anything? even very small, worsening or bettering, nothing reocurring? No loose stolls, change of urine etc?

YOU HAVE NOT BEEN NEAR CAMPOR BY ANY CHANCE? EVEN THE SMELL OF IT CAN ANTIDOTE SILICEA, NOT ANY INCENSE?
aND BU TAKING THE SAME POTENCE AGAIN, YOU SLOW DOWN ANY REACTIONS, YOU DO NOT HASTE THEM, UNLESS ITS CHANGED A BIT, PLUSSING ITS CALLED, A NEW SLIGTHLY CHANGED DOSE EACH TIME.

Hi GM.

No I have not been near any camphor. I do not understand the reaction either. My psoriasis has got worse but this is because I have used no medication. I am tempted to start using some ointmentsas the spots have started to scale.

Should I try the teucrinum?

Regards

Ben
