To all - On the east coast we are being hit with the remains of hurricane Floyd - I've tried to get on to post and have psoted earlier so if this is a repeat - please excuse.. The internet is not too reliable in this weather. To Ricky, Yes I gave her the whole bottle of remedy. What was interesting is that she called me back tonight to tell me she had a yeast infection. When I gave her Sepia 30 for the ringworm in June, she came down with a yeast infection. Usually she only gets yeast infections when she's been on antibiotics. this time she took Sepia 200 - the ringworm is gone but she has another yeast infection within a week. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

I just hope it lasts longer than last time! Did you give her more than one to take back with her?

Interesting! How does the yeast infection affect her. Is it with thrush? If this was caused by an antibiotic I would suggest a course of Acidophilus, a good bacteria, which she can get from a health food shop. Just a thought though is that if the ringworm is on the skin and the yeast infection internal it is actually better for her to have the ringworm!! How long did the yeast infection last when she had the sepia last time or does it actually replace the ringworm. Ithink that John is n the right track. It is the yeast infection that needs treating.( And the wrestler of cause!)

just to clarify - all past cases of yeast infections were after antibiotics UNTIL Sepia doses for ringworm. She never had a yeast infection, that I know of, without taking antibiotics prior.

The reason she was on antibiotics was always for a sore or infected throat. In April of 1997 she was diagnosed with a severe case of Mono. Seven months later she had huge and infected tonsils and the tonsils came out. She had a long recovery as the tonsils were, in her Doctor's opinion - some of the worst he had ever seen. Her throat was black with the cauterization - she could bearly swallow - even water. She lost 10 lbs. Since then - she has had recurrent bouts with sore throat and possible strep. Sometimes being diagnosed with strep and put on antibiotics - sometimes not diagnosed, but put on antibiotics anyways. She has been back to the Ear-Nose&Throat Sepcialist because of abnormal lymph growth in the tonsil area. She always feels there is something in the back of her throat (right side) and has spit out particles that look like old peas. (Seems to me there is a hole in that spot that catches food, fills up, then she spits it out)

I will try to answer Johnstanton first, although I'm not quite sure what he's asking - What inhibits her more? The ringworm is ugly, itches and spreads if not treated. The yeast infection is messy, itchy, burning and smelly if not treated. The ringworm has been treated with Sepia, also washing with Hibeclens. The yeast infection is treated with Monistat. She has had yeast infections for the past three years - always after a treatment of antibiotics.
To Ricky: The yeast infection is always internally vaginal - discharge, burning, itching. When she had yeast infections from antibiotics she always loaded up on yoghurt and Acidophilus. When she had a yeast infection the last time she took Sepia she treated it with a 3 day Monistat. The yeast infection goes away after the Monistat treatment. She did mention on the phone that this yeast infection is one of the worst she's had. Any thoughts?

As GM says, Carcinosin is one of our main remedies for Never Been Well Since (NBWS) Glandular Fever. It may well be worth giving her a 30C to take. I always advise to take 3 doses within 24 hours, 1 night, 1 morning, 1 night.
