Hope someone can help with this. My 19 yr old daughter is away at school and dating a wrestler. She has come down with ringworn several times. She has seen a homeopathic dr. in the past and her constitutional type is NUX VOMICA. She is almost a classic example of this type - almost fits her to a T -- So many of the characterists! This time she has ringworm on three or four places on her face. (Maybe on other parts of her body as well!) The boyfriend has given her a half used tube of prescription cream to apply - after 2 weeks the ringworm is still spreading. Can anyone tell me what to use to help her get rid of this. She's a 1 1/2 hr drive away, so I would be mailing her the remedy. Thanks for your help.

Sepia is one of the main remedies for ringworm on the face and it follows on well from Nux Vom. I would send her Sepia 30C, one a day for 5 days. Interestingly Nux Vom does not show up as a remedy for ringworm. In any case why don't you phone your daughter's homeopath and ask him/her for advise as this person will know your daughter best.

Hi Rochelle! Just wanted to let you know I gave my daughter Sepia for 5 days as you suggested for her ringworm. The ringworm is now almost all dried up!! She is also in a great mood and singing. (That's how I know when she's having a good day) Thank you very much for your advise. If she is re-infected during the wrestling season again next year, should we use Sepia again? Thanks again - Yvonne

Rochelle - I posted about 3 1/2 weeks ago about my daughter's ringworm - all was doing well and it seemed to clear up. My daughter saw her boyfriend last week and now I see signs of the same ringworm showing up again - the same spot on her chin that she says is VERY itchy. She also has a spot on the joining of her lips (like a cold sore) Should I give her Sepia again? Same potency as before and for 5 days as before? Thank you for your anticipated reply and any others that want to give their opinion. - Yvonne

NO. Dont repeat sepia,it may have owerworked, antidote with one dose sulphurx (d) 12.
Wait three days and see if its going away.
If not give her AND her boyfriend each, at the same time medhorrinum M one dose, once only!( can be done by dissolving three pills in juice etc)

Since I last posted about my daughter's reacurring ringworm she has come down with a nasty vaginal --- infection?--- Alot of itch and cheesy discharge. She is due to see her Gyn on Monday and I would like some alternative suggestions before the Dr puts her on antibiotics and yeast meds. This is a also a reacurring problem, but she usually only gets it after she has had an antibiotic. The only thing she has taken since the Sepia is birth control meds. Any suggestions?

You have got one suggestion, use the medh.
fungal infection, may come from both parts, then medh is rigth to use, along with vaginitis.
But i would preferr a casanalysis, because there are too mutch unclear here, calc c is also one alternative, silicea too, and staphysagria, and many more.
The causation must be found. If eruption after antibiotics it suggests sulphur followed by calc c.
CC is by the way, a complementary and chronic of nux in several things.
It may also be a agg from sepia, it depends on the potence, if from sepia, go up in potence.
One dose only, and wait.
But this its not easy to know, because you have not responded in any way to my post.
If you dont have any confindence in me, then mail rochelle personally, instead of posting questions here that you dont want answers to.

Sorry for the slight GM - reason I asked Rochelle is because her suggestion worked like a charm and I thought she might remember the case more readily. Didn't mean to step on toes. In your reply you said to use "medh" Could you please tell me what that is? Thanks - Yvonne
