My daughter is 5 months old and was a normal delivery, here are her eczema symptoms:

Eczema on the scalp in the form of greycrust and oozing yellow sticky fluid, on the face, behind the knees, ears and arm joints.
Gets hot while sleeping
Prespires during sleep on the back
Foul Smells on the head during eczema attack
Eczema oozes and is very itchy, bleeds quickly when scratched
Skin very very dry, scaly and rough all over the body
Likes to be held when not feeling well
Does not mind water, likes to take bath
Does not like cold
Very happy and calm on the swing.
Hands and feet very cold all the time, and get blue sometime.
During fever, face, back, trunk hot but feet and hand cold.
Becomes very read while crying
Farting makes her feel good
burping is essential
Can sit in dirty diaper fro some time without complaining
Smiles in the morning, loves to talk, goes to other people without a problem
Increased salivation(drooling) after 3 months
Potty 4-5 times a day
Urine 8-10 times a day
Redness reduces when sleeping, increases when up.
Nursing required every 2 hours or earlier for 10 minutes
Likes to sleep on us at night, or face down, will sleep 3-4 hours in that position, on the back not more then 2 hours and very restless.
Glands on the back of her nect are swollen
Sneezes very often.

Remedy used so far calcaria carb 6c for 2 weeks, Graphite 6c for 3 weeks, just started with sulphur 6c 4/27/99.

Sulphur is correctly aggrevating her skin, and she itches all over,
Please advice if we are doing the right thing.

Please ask us if you need more details.

Thanks for your prompt response, here are the answers.
1.The top of the scalp is most infected, although the scales and oozing are all over. Including the area just above, the back of her neck. Her face is totally red all over, especially her cheeks and it oozes the most.
2.Yes, she bleeds easily
3.She was born with a full head of hair, but the hair on the top of her scalp have become thin, her hair is black in color.
4. We are not sure, but she like warmth over cold.
5. Family has a history of allergies, asthma and eczema. Other's include high blood preasure and breast cancer.
6.We have NOT done any blood tests, but I will schedule something today.

Dear Vishal,
It is not good to treat your child by yourself.Because during the time of worsening there is a chance of getting over anxious and case will get spoiled.so it is good to consult a Homoeopath personally ,as direct attention is necessorry in skin cases.Any way we will lk in to your case in detail and discuss with all the Doctors in site.Family history of allergy, and if eosinophils,E.SR, SerumIgeincreased, it shows the atopic type of dermatitis. In H omoeopathic treatment by constitutional treatment we can cure it.What about pain ?
Did he suffer much pain or not?In this type of cases don't change medicine frequently, give single dose of medium potency and wait. After geting all those needed we can discuss the case with other Doctors in this site.

This could also be a natrium mur case.
Most likey, because of no reaction on calc c.
Tuberculinum is also a choice, and psorinum.
Mutch more info needed.

Thank you for your respose GM.I think psorinum covers this case with the avilable detail.Weeping eruption on head,
offensivo discharge,
Swelling of neck glands,
bathing >,
bleeding when scrached,
severe itching,,
crusty eruption on scalp,
Dryness of the skin,
sweat head, etc in favour of it.You pointed out it in your reply. If it is psorinum ,I probably give it in 30 single .The other remedy you said is also good. But Nat.mur eruption in scalp especially in borders and not much weeping and itching.Allthe other remedies you told are (sepia) similer symptoms, dryness in the joints eruption scalp etc.If the eruption is only on scalp and with terrible itching and weeping,we can think of a comparatively short acting remedy Viola Tricolor.I usually administer it in 30 and with repetition.
Dear GM usually in atopic eczema ,in begining stage in infants without infection as above, the frequently used remedy by me is
1. Ant.crud-rougheness of cheek,coated toungue,
2.petroleum 50millicimal ,severe itching, bleeding easily,Occiput <,
3.PSORINUM,
4Sulphur-Head hot,hot,
5Nitric Acid-very easy bleeding,
Nepenthes-Cheek mainly affected,
Graphitis etc
You please tell your experience in this type of cases.
Dear Vishal- It is good for you to stick on Homoeopathy,as it needs constitutional treatment. As you have allergic back ground suppression by means of ointments and steroids may be not good.As direct attention is required it is safe to see a good Homoeopath.

Thanks for the responses, I am seeing a homeopath, I am not trying to treat my daughter myself.

PAIN:I cannot tell, but she definately scratches all the time, Her eczema has spread all over her body and it is very painful to see her scratch and bleed all over. Even after cutting her nails, she bleeds.
How can I stop her itch, while we cure her skin condition????.

NAILS: I don't see any spots on her nails.

GM: What more details do you need to help us. Please let me know. I desperately need to stop her itch.
