Default Eczema: Graphites Question

My 12 year old daughter has eczema. She was given Nux Vomica followed by Graphites. The Doctor tells me Graphites is working since the eczema has spread throughout the body. Today is day 15. How long will this flareup continue? When does it start subsiding?

Regards,
SKG

if it is a medicinal aggravation, it should subside in a week or two, at most. Normally, the patient will be in a better state of mind, if the aggravation is a desired one.

Thank-you for your reply. On May 28 we started with Nux V 30 for 5 days, bedtime. Followed by 2 days of no medicine. Then Graphites 30 for 3 times a day for 5 days, till June 8th. Saw the Doctor on 10th and restarted Graphites twice daily for 5 days, then once at bedtime thereafter. She is very allergic to Peanuts. We avoid milk and milk products, eggs etc. We are vegetarians so no meat. Will a compelete cure mean she will be able to tolerate these substances she is allergic to or will she have to watch out for these for the rest of her life?
Thanks,

May be homoeopathic aggravation. From correct remedy or form excessive dose it may occur. If it is from the first said it will abate soon. If it is from frequent repetition, the dosage should be looked for.

I like to give single dose and wait.

Her face is starting to look better. Ears are not itchy anymore. The arms are healing, not very itchy. Legs are very itchy and full of rash now. The rash seems to be moving from face to legs.

Will a compelete cure mean she will be able to tolerate these substances she is allergic to or will she have to watch out for these for the rest of her life?

Thanks.

If I were to be your doctor, I will stop further medication now and wait for atleast a week. Continuous dosing even after reaction has set in, is not advisable.

Regarding her ability to be able to eat the foods she is allergic to , it is too early to say now. But, in general a proper homeopathic tretment should remove these allergic tendencies also.

Thanks. She has been asked to apply only ghee on herself. She is very itchy all the time. Is there anything we can do to bring relief?

Best to apply is either pure coconut oil, or olive oil. Without any additives, or preservatives.

My daughter was given Psorinum (single dose in the evening) on June 25th.
She is still very itchy and has rash all over. Doctor told us to wait for 45 days or so. 50 days and not yet better. Today we were asked to follow the below given regimen:

Aug. 15th: Sulphur 200, three doses each after 10 min. early in the morn.

After 5 days, on Aug. 20: Sulphur 30 single dose in the morn. We will be calling him before giving Sulphur 30. He says the sulphur will aggravate it more and bring it all out. It is scary because the poor girl has been suffering for so long. Are we on the right track here? He says it is constitutional remedy and takes time. Please advice.

Thank-you.
