It's important to know about any substance taken orally or by any mode of administration ,where it is consumed in system by a living body and what is the mechanism.Even alopaths prove the actio of any meicine by provings on animals .They prove the affectivenss by ,Germicidal Bactericidal,or cellular changes etc.so to say ultimately the pathology is envoled .By this method A disase can be cured not the sick as defined homeopathically .SO sickness can be felt not demonstrated in toto . the mental feelings won't be demonstrated .The Scentific validity in Homeopathy are the clinical verifications and "which produces tht cures'

Homoeopathic as a science has been symptoms based and that is how it should remain this has been of great benefit as the nomenclatures of diseases keep changing.Rather than giving names to certain symptom complexes it is better to allow them remain as a group of symptoms.The efficacy of a homoeopathic remedy can be demonstrated even by the fact that they can produce a certain group of symptoms and that they can also cure the same set of symptoms. Giving names to diseases makes the task only difficult for the physician.It is much more easier to treat the patient on the basis of symptom similarity alone.Hahnemann himself understood the futility in giving names to diseases and that is the reason he advised that such nomenclatures should not be given much value.These so called disease names have never actually helped in the treatment of the patient all that they have managed to do is to give a feeling of sophistication to the physician

This thread I started keeping the various querries in mind ,made by many Scientists ,Alopaths and who have least or no knowledge of Homoeopathy. I shall present shortly the relation of mechanism of medicine and Hahnemannin theory

Rather than presenting theories I think we should stick to the basic fact that the Homoeopathic medicines have produced symptoms when proved in higher potencies and these symptoms were similar to the symptoms produced while proving the same remedies in the crude form.This is a fact and explaining the physics or chemistry behind this is not our job as clinicians.

Actually, it isn't. This has never been adequately demonstrated in any published literature.

I know that it has not been adequately proved but it has been proved maybe inadequately according to the modern statistics.That can be done and it is being attempted by various organizations.The conditions are pretty difficult to comply with and are certainly going to take some time to complete.Secondly even the unbiasedness is also difficult to prove as all those who conduct these studies are going to be biased for or against Homoeopathy.Some dialogue is necessary on this issue.

Its true to be understand better the principle of Homeopathy than the chemistry of mechanism of action . But there is also one way to prove how Homeopathy medicine act , by provings i.e. pathological way

Most homeopathic remedies are organic raw remedy substance based with multiple consiuents, homogenous and hetrogenous to body. Furthur, potentised remedies esp. in higher potencies have dep but delicate effects to which an individual constitution can either get effect or owerride it. As such, it may be difficult to get consistent results either in efficacy or in pathological tests. Still we can try with homogenous individual substance based remedies in various potencies eg; tissue remedies and other mineral based remedies.

In continuity of my some cases being tested to know the mechanism of action recently I tested a case of Diarrhoea of an infant which was very close to indication of Arg Nit .The stool of Arg Nit ,as a rule should contain some ammount of lactose or saucrose which due to improper absorption may cause loose stool .And mine laboratory invastigatio came true

A similar observation was made by Dr Chimthanwala's group at their IPD in nashik. They observed that whenever a dose of Hydrocyanic acid was administered to one of their patients there was a decrease in the Potassium levels ie a peroid of hypokalaemia was observed
