Can someone explain to me if Homeopaths is blind faith or Science (evidence-based , knowledge-based, cause-effect relations, etc...) ? I am not a homeopath, and although my background was in a core science subject (Physics) I don't practice it as a profession.

Now homeopath practitioners, could you throw informations into the discussion as I am starting to read more into homeopathy , I am becoming more troubled by the unintuitive and illogical formulations of its guiding principles.

However many homeopaths would disagree with this.

If it is not a Science, then perhaps the whole practice and industry should stop passing itself as a Science. Also if it is ART, then it has no place in medical treatment. Medical treatment must be evidence-based, fact-based, knowledge-based, causation-effect, etc... WHY ? because the whole bloody world and human civilization is advanced only by solely evidenced-based methodology ?

Has anyone read the following book ?

Have you read the book ? If you do, then I am keen to ask you some questions about it. I have only seen the table of contents of the book on the internet and I am horified of how irrelevant to homeopathy are the theories from fractals, chaos, theory of complexity, bifurcations, dynamical systems, etc... I specialized in numerical computing (scientific computing), which involved building simulation models that include all areas mentioned above where they are covered in the book.

I suspect that the authors are using scientific jargons for layman's consumption and to entice homeopathy suckers to rush to their local bookstore to buy a copy since the term 'chaos' sounds fascinating. Since the areas mentioned above are my domain knowledge, I seriously doubt if the authors are just using them for the sake of making homeopathy sound scientific in its foundation, nor do they really understand the theory of those topics, let alone if they are relevant to homeopathy at all. From what I know and experience in developing models from those fields, are that they (chaos, complexity, etc...) have got nothing to be applied to homeopathy or even applicable at all.

So, before my next response, I await your confirmation to see if you have read the book. I am not going to buy the book, since I am not a homeopathy practitioner. I have only read a two page intro on the internet and also, have a quick look over the table of content to see what topics are covered.

Sorry.I have no interest to discuss this topic which was discussed so many times in this forum.You can refer the forum discussins.We attend the forum after a tire some schedule and spend some time to help the patients those who want to know about their ailment and cure not to teach about the subjectHomoeopathy) and its validity.We are not pushing our system(homoeopathy).Those who fade up with other pathy and want to know about the cure in homoeoapthy its worthy to spend time for them.

Homeopathy is yet un-underderstood science. It is a healing art. Any healing art can still be a science based. Making a picture is anart but still there can be a science of it. It is just an inability/weakness or miss of science people to know science of this healing art. Its causes and effects are well observed and experianced by millions but its working couldn't yet be known/understood by science people. Let us see, how sooner scince people could be able to find it.

I do not mean to say that this is the last word. but, if one is seriously interested in studying or understanding scientific homeopathy, this will be a solid beginning!

why just bank on others? if you have a scientifc mind - go ahead take the challege!
read deeply, test experiment and research homeopathy! apply homeopathy correctly and see whether it works or not! see whether it gives results or not in your own clinic!
