Thumbs up

I am an American in Germany and have a German wife who is studying to become a Heilpraktiker or healer in English. This is a certified profession in Germany. We are thinking about moving to the USA in the future and would like to find out as much as possible if this profession is recognized or valid in the USA. We would appreciate a professional answer or referrels to other sources if possible.
Thank you

Default Also interested...

Hi Dirk,

I'm also interested in finding out the answer to this question. I've been researching the last few days to find out about natural medicine certification/degrees (I'm also an American living in Germany) because I would like to go into this profession. A friend of mine is in this field and as far as I know, the alternative medicine degrees in Germany aren't recognized in the US or Canada, and vice-versa. But this is just what I've heard. I'm hoping that there is some school out there that give out degrees which are internationally recognized.

Is your wife studying in English? I've been looking for a school that offers training in English, and also at the possibilities of long-distance learning for part of the course. Might you be able to share any information with me?

Best,

Aria
