Scientists such as Dawkins do not believe in anything that cannot be ascertained using the 5 senses. Yet of course we cannot see electricity but would he deny its existence? Similarly, can he see or touch the thoughts in his head? Then according to his belief system, they simply do not exist............................................. ......

Professor Richard Dawkins is a man on a mission. His task seems to be to bring down anything that conflicts with his belief in Science. To this end he presents two programmes – one on mediums, astrologers, psychics and dowsers, the other on alternative medicine including Ayurvedic, homeopathy, and kinesiology.

This is, of course, nonsense. Or rather, such a position does obviously not imply things being sensed [i]directly[/]. We can "see" electricity because we can see the effect it has on an instrument.
