Cat vomiting....

I have a 9 yr old cat.... She's been vomiting after she eats since she was a kitten. The vet has suggested things like wetting her food before she eats it....Kitten food...Giving her wet cat food....None of it has worked in the slightest. Any one else ever had this problem? Any ideas what can be done? Thanks
