Question My ragdoll cat has possible FIP

Hi,

I have a three year old ragdoll cat who has been under the weather since the beginning of February. She was lethargic and losing weight. Blood tests showed a high titer of 3200 and vet diagnosed probable dry FIP. She is showing no other symptoms normally associated with FIP but she is getting really stressed having to take steroids. Her weight has dropped from 3.3kg in November 2007 to 2.56 kg on 20/03/08. Last week she had a temperature, but antibiotics have cleared that. Her latest blood test shows no problem with anything, other than still a high titer for coronavirus of 2500. I am at a loss and am wondering if there is anything I can do, could stress cause her to be losing the weight because she hates taking tablets?

Any advice anyone could give me would be much appreciated.

Belinda x
