Question Sick bunnies

Hello,

I just purchased two bunnies from out of state... Both were from different breeders and both are sick... grrr.

One rabbit has a watery eye (rt one) and watery nose. His nose is not dripping a lot, it's just wet. He has moments of irrational fear.

The other bunny seems to be in good health. However, she was a ball of matts when she got here (she is an angora) and when I trimmed away the fur... her hocks have sores on them. They are not open, but they are irritated. I put ointment on them, but didn't know if I should do more.

If you have suggestions, I would surely appreciate the help.

Thanks
Christen

I would give the bunny with runny eyes and irrational fear some Aconite.

If the sores on the other bunny aren't open use Arnica cream.Or is that what you tried?

Ok... I will get some Aconite at the store today. What strength should I use?

I actually used burt's bees diaper ointment, lol. I have arnica cream and I will use that instead.

Thank you so much for your reply!

Give 30c- I would try 1 tablet twice a day for 2 or 3 days.
Hope it helps.

dear christen
"Bach flower Rescue remedy" The liquid dropper Is great for fear shock anxiety. A few drops in the water bottle.
I have had rabbits as pets for several decades, they only used homeopathic remedies and Bach flower essences ,no allopathics.

Here is a great website for holistic animal healing: Natural Cures - Holistic Health for People and Animals
