Red face bryonia - kidding doe?

Hi Wim
I have a junior doe that will probably kid today. She has developed a loose cough. Is it alright for me to give her the Bryonia?

Yes, you can safely give Bryonia 30c or a lower potency. Bryonia is a good all-round remedy for animals if the cough is obviously worse for movement and warmth. This remedy can be given 3-4 times daily for up to 7 days, but stop earlier on distinct improvement and, if necessary, repeat later.

Hi Wim
thanks
I am upset because one of the babies is not seeming to find the nipple.
I tube fed her once ..
she seems strong enough but has not really eaten
any suggestions?

You could try China officinalis in low or medium potency (i.e. 30c or lower). Give the baby goat one dose every hour up to 4-6 doses.
