Default washing kittens

I've never washed a cat before. I tried to wash my new kitten once but I wasn't able to.

He smells really bad like he rolled on something very stinky maybe feces and I need to clean him up pretty quickly.

I went over to Pet Smart and it looks like they sell stuff to clean cats without using water. Are these things safe for cats to ingest?

Is there some safe way to clean cats?

Hi Pat,

It`s only possible to wash your kitten/cat using a special cat shampoo (obtainable from the vet or good pet shop), but only wash him if it`s really necessary. It`s wise to comb/brush your cat once a week. Before buying any cat shampoo always read the label first.
