Yes.....that would be possible....dissolve the remedy in a little water in a (e.g. 2 ml) syringe without a needle and squirt (part of)the dilution gently into mouth ......but you can also place a tablet or a pellet into a clean beak/bill. I usually use the last option.

Very interesting information.

A friend just recently told me about a kitten she had on their ranch as a little girl. The kitten got Distemper, and like many ranchers, her father would not spend money to treat a useless cat.

But what he DID do was mix up some concoction that included fresh cow’s milk and gunpowder and treated the kitten himself. And amazingly, the kitten recovered. The cat always had a strange gait and obviously had some residual problems, but lived to be 18 years old, which is unheard of for a ranch cat.

Also amazing that the cat recovered from Distemper using a home remedy. Distemper is a terrible disease that stays on the land. Once you get it on the property, every animal thereafter is at risk. I’ve seen this happen repeatedly.
