Default I like cats (but many other animals too of course !)

I admire cats because they are so independent and a great many cats are even loners. They can be very funny too and have their own way of doing things. Cats simply expect their carers to do exactly what they want as soon as they demand it and funny enough we usually oblige.

People having a cat often wonder if the house belongs to the cat and if they, the owners of the cat, are just in the house to serve their companion(s) ! Dillweed (member of this forum) once said : `I am a slave to my cat`, which virtually says it all !

Cats are full of character and individuality and if you have one or more of these critters you can be sure there will never be a dull moment in the house.

Cats can`t be vegetarians and must have meat or fish in their diet because they are unable to synthesise the essential amino-acid taurine and that`s why this should be provided in their meals.
