Default Hypericum also great for animals !

Hypericum mother tincture is used as a local application and once potentised can also be taken by mouth. It has a profound effect/action on the nervous system, particularly the nerve endings. It is one of the best remedies for easing pain.

Some of the most important uses are :

-- Painful conditions of the back.

-- Torn lacerated wounds, where nerve endings have been damaged.

-- Before and after dental treatment. Also consider Arnica in addition to Hypericum.

-- Burns and scalds.

-- Crushed toes, tails and nails.

-- Alternate Hypericum with Ledum palustre where infected wounds may lead to tetanus !

-- Damage to lips, gums and teeth.

Hypericum mother tincture is often combined with Calendula mother tincture (and then becomes the well known and very useful Hypercal), but also in ointments, creams and lotions.

Default

Needles and pins, needles and pins,

When the skin`s broken, the trouble begins.

Wounds got from splinters or treading on nails,

If your`re not careful, then lockjaw prevails.

So if you`ve been run over or taken a knock,

Which causes concussion or symptoms of shock,

Or if you`ve a wound, which has damaged the nerves,

A dose of Hypericum usually serves !
