Default Inadequate brood care in birds.

Sometimes the (bird) parents don`t pay enough attention to the nest or the young birds or even try to eat them. The causes are largely unknown/undetermined.

If you notice this, it`s possible to give (instead of a homeopathic remedy) the Bach Flower remedy Chestnut Bud.

If you want to promote the bird`s natural instincts for brood care you can give the Bach Flower remedy Scleranthus before the start of the nesting season.

The Bach Flower remedy Walnut will help bird mothers and fathers that are brooding for the first time cope better with the stress of brooding.

Give the birds 2 drops of each Bach Flower remedy in 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) of drinking water during the entire brooding and raising period.

Also provide a sufficiently warm and quiet environment for the nesting pair and make sure the diet is correct for the species you keep !

Also make sure if the nesting is taking place in an aviary that no cats, rats, etc. (or humans/children !) disturb the nesting pair and if there are other birds in the aviary you should put these in another cage during the brooding period.
