Question Kitten Diarrhea

We recently brounght home a new kitten, Callie, who was a bit put off by our two cats ignoring and hissing at her and having to resign to comfort from our two mini-dachschunds. She's a bit rough and high strung, constantly hungry, and often doesn't or isn't able to get to her litter box (diarrhea). She loves to sleep with the dogs now, adores for us to hold and play with her, and has been ecstatic since our bringing home 4 foster kittens. There were originally six but two were smaller than Callie and they are a week or more older than her so I sent them to a friend to be fostered seperately. They are doing fine but had diarrhea which was treated with medicine.

The four we have are furry little polydactl kittens who are constantly hungry, very playful, and sometimes finicky. At first Callie's stools were fine. We currently feed them dry and wet food but when they first came we gave them some Mother's Milk. Our cats never did like this but the kittens lapped at it. Now all 5 have wet stools but Callie's are pure liquid. Their's are light brown in color but some of Callie's are dark, dark brown and some are the light brown. I have wormed her and they have also been wormed. Callie I have seen rubbing her butt on the foor and often she leaves stool in strange places (behind a cabinet, under the tv stand, etc).

I'm not quite sure what to do. We tried taking them off wet food altogether but they howl and howl and refuse to eat the dry food. My mother can't take their whining, she's too soft hearted. The foster kittens I can't afford to take to a vet but the group I'm in might take them and also Callie I want to run by a vet. I'd like to treat it myself but I'm not sure what to do.

Help would be greatly appreciated I also wonder how I can get Callie not to bite and claw so much, and not to be so rough. I do remember that the kittens got some of the dog's wet food. They didn't get very much, but what I'm thinking is that my mother and i have been giving them just regular wet food. The kitten wet food is about 70 cents a can and they eat 2 or 3 a day. They refuse to eat dry so what I'm trying to do is wet the dry cat food, mush it up like the ground food, and give them that. (this worked for our picky puppies)

Please help me

Hi Jen,

Give the kittens with diarrhoea Baryta carbonica 6c (or 12x). one dose 3 times daily for 7 days, but you can stop giving the remedy when you see a distinct improvement. (if the 6c or 12x is not obtainable give the 30x or 30c instead)

Give Callie Belladonna 30c, one daily dose for 3 days, a few days longer if necessary, and repeat in the future as required.
One dose for both remedies is a few pellets or 1 tablet.

You could try giving the kittens some goats milk to moisten the dry cat kibble. What type of worm medication did you give? Kittens are like puppies they also need lots of playtime. One thing to remember is not to play rough with the kittens. Redirect the play to a toy.
