My 2,5 year old cat got paralyzed after jumping from the 5 th floor terrace 9 months ago. After a 21 days cortisone cure and massages in hot water in the evenings he started walking slowly. But he can not urinate himself. I have been making him urinate by squeezing his bladder since then. I heard that a dog in a similar situation is cured by homeopathic medicine sent from America by I don't know what it is. Could you, please, help us ?

Hi Toroman,

Start giving Arnica 30c, 1 dose three times daily for 3 days. Than give her Hypericum 1M, one dose daily for 7 days. Don't touch the remedy with your hands, 1 dose is about 3 pellets, put the pellets in the top (cap) and give them to your cat 1/2 hour before or after eating or drinking .
If there is no or little improvement you need to speak to a homeopathic vet, there is a remedy 'Conium Maculatum', but I ca't say if this one would be indicated as a follow up, you need a real homeopath for that ( I'm an animal health adviser who works with BachFlowers and homeopathy)
Good luck, Mirjam

Dear Mirjam,
Thanks a lot for your kind advise. He is a male cat. I hope this does not make any difference. The matter is that : where can I find these treatments ? I don't think we have them here, in Turkey. I will appreciate if you help me in this respect.

Hi Toroman,

This is a good site to order on line

http://www.helios.co.uk/

I prefer to buy the granules (pellits) but if you think a tablet or liquid is easier to give to your cat then choose one of these.
