Unhappy Lab with skin problems

I have a 4 year old lab with skin problems. Sasha gets bumps that itch, then scab, especially on thighs and around her neck. Anyone have any experience with this? We don't think it is fleas. Thanks

Have you had Sasha checked for allergies?

No we haven't had her checked for allergies. We were hoping to come up with something natural without going that route. Thanks

Once you find out what she is allergic to then you can go from there. Dogs can have inhalant allergies, food allergies, contact allergies, bacterial allergies.

Is she losing hair, or does it thin out too? You may want to look into Red Mange. I am currently looking for a natural remedy for treating this. It is common in labs, and is passed from mother to pup. The allopathic remedy is massive doses of heart worm medicine. (YUCK!) Friends of mine have sibling labs with this condition.

It`s virtually impossible to treat skin problems in people and animals properly online.
Best would would be to see a qualified vet.hom. or hom.vet. who will take a full case history to find the correct remedy. Sometimes a nosode should be prescribed.

The professional should be able to see, feel, smell etc. the animal !
