Default Kitty pukes on retail food

Hello.
Tiger is 13 he had been to the vet. The vet says he looks healthier than any cat that comes to them. the problem is he is gaseous and vomits after eating retail food (canned and dry) I've tried all that is available to me. the only thing that has kept him alive and gaining weight is venison I do put supplements for cats into it. he doesn't seem to vomit when he is eating that or any other Human food. I allow him to eat dry food for his teeth. I don't mind making the food for him its a labor of love.

the vomit is usually digesting food and clear fluid.
He poops just fine
He lost weight to the point of emaciation. But he is heaver now than ever.
He does seem to sneeze a few times a day. I even saw a little clear fluid on his nose one time.
I don't know what else to say about him

I don't really want to go through allot of testing. To me it seems allot of undo stress on an animal that will die in there time anyway. I only want to give my friend the best till the end.

Thanks for any help you could provide.
Ralph & Tiger

A lot of vet homeopaths and natural vets would say that a diet of "real" rather than commercial / retail catfood would be best for him anyhow.

I think I'm seeing a trend in the vomiting. since he didn't go to the poop for those 3 days I started giving him soft food tender vittles. That seemed to quiet things down. I ran out and the vomiting started again. I was noticing that he was taking an odd shape in his belly and was getting gaseous. the next day he pooped areal lot and it was pretty hard. He hasn't vomited since. I have since gotten him a supply of soft food. Do you think this is a sign of age or another problem.

It might be worth mentioning that I have moved from one state to another where the water is different. also seems to be in the same time-frame as the trouble.

Try and give him Nux Vomica 30C one daily dose for a week for the vomiting and constipation.

Dry food does nothing for the teeth other than lodge in the gums and cause tartar. There is no need for dental cleanings on animals. It is for the vets to make money off what the pet food companies put out there. Garbage.

He is vomiting because his body is rejecting the overly processed food you are feeding him.

Cats are descendents of lions. Lions do not eat cooked food or they will die. Best food for your cat is raw meat. Mince up some raw chicken, beef or chicken daily and add in a good pet multivitamin. That will give you a good start.

NAMASTE

Hello well tiger hasn't vomited in 4 days. 5 days ago I started giving him only chicken. 3 days ago I started giving him Eagle pack supplemental enzymes and prozime. 2 days ago I Finlay got wellness caned food I ordered. His poop seems to be a bit on the soft side. The doctors apointment got pushed to the 18th so havent gotten him to them yet. He seems to be doing better now. He is still going to the vet on the 18th.

Default Vets office

OK we just came back from the vet. Blood panel says that he has a little bit of liver damage. They gave me Medrol and amoxicillin trihydrate/clavulante potassium to give him. The Vet thinks he will do just fine.

Default Tiger surviveing

Well Tiger is trying to survive no thanks to the Vet. The Vet said he was going to be just fine. 2 weeks ago he said he was surprised he has lasted this long. Maybe thats becouse I had to go out and find out what to do all by myself. Doctors stink.
