I am desperate for help with my lab. He has a skin rash that looks like raw meat on his groin area. This problem would occur a few times a year and was treatable, now he has a hard time sitting or laying down. Jack (the dog) is currently on prednizone which is of no help and our vet suggests putting him to sleep. Recently in the last week we have noticed a similar rash on his lower lip which has made it difficult for him to eat. Also within the last week his ears have become infected and have what appear to be leasions or bubble type blisters.
We have switched his food from Fit n Trim to Science Diet. Tuesday, Feb. 28th he has another vet appt. my mom who cares for Jack does not want him to suffer and if it again suggested we put him to sleep that is what she will do on Tuesday rather than watch him suffer. PLEASE, PLEASE help me help Jack. I am desperate and do not believe a skin rash is a reason for him to die. Pics of the above problem are available if requested. All advise and suggestions gratefully appreciated |
