Using syringe to administer pills

Hi - is it ok to dissolve a remedy in a syringe with spring water and administer it that way? Thanks!

Yes it is- or crush the pill and drop onto tongue!

I dose my cat by dissolving the pills in a half pint of spring water, succussing, and then using an eye dropper (which would be like using a syringe). My cat has no tolerance for my shoving pills in her mouth, but the syringe she thinks is just water. ;^) Works beautifully!
