Default Kitty #2

This cat has been sick since Dec 20th. The vets have thrown their hands in the air and think it may just be chronic.

The cat has had a cyclical upper respiratory for the whole time up until the last 3 weeks when his symptoms have been constant.

He is a very loose siamese cross and as such almost completely white (around 1 year old). He came in with a pink stripe down his back of an unknown origin which has not grown out over all this time. He also has very slow-deliberate movements which the vets guess is some sort of neuro problem perhaps the damage is the result of a panleuk infection in utero or as a kitten.

His symptoms:
Appetite excellent although he remains quite thin
Thirst, urine and BM all normal
green/yellow thick discharge from both nostrils
violent sneezing fits
nasal and head conjestion
sometimes drolls while sleeping (probably when he's so stuffed up that he partially mouth breathes)
coat has always been scruffy (never cleans himself)

He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV and has been on antibiotics, oral interferon, lysine supplements for extended periods of time. At 1st the illness would be quite serious (he would go off his food and need fluids to keep him hydrated) but these days he just keeps muttering on.

I did give puls as well as nux over the period, but due to the serious nature of the URD when it first presented I played it safe.

Any advise is appreciated.

Colloidal silver(under various product names) has worked for what you have described. Get it in liquid form- 1/4 tsp three times a day .

Thanks Redelle but I have tried col silver many times and found its not very useful in acute illness.
Again looking for homeopathic advise. His conjestion is worse than ever, losts of sneezing, dripping and ozzing with sticky yellow nasal discharge. Appetite still good, but energy down, also needs to put on some weight!
