Default Lump on my cat's back

Hello, I am new to this site which I have searched for in desperation to help save my beloved cat Squeaky.
He developed a lump on his back about 6 weeks ago. It is located between his shoulder blades. The vet has confirmed that it is probably a tumour as a result of vaccinations. It is firmly attached to his muscle and they don't wish to perform aggressive surgery on him which would also involve cutting part of his spine. The lump is now about the size of a small egg.
Squeaky is 8 years old, otherwise very healthy and playful and eating well. It breaks my heart that he doesn't even know how ill he is.
I've only just started doing some seaches on the internet and the word 'carcinosin' keeps popping up as a possible cure?
I am British but living in Portugal and I don't know of any homeopathic vets here.
Can anyone help us, please?

Default Not Carcinosin

Carcinosin is related to tumors BUT it is NOT a remedy to treat a tumor.

If it is the result of a vaccination it could either be that the needle insertion should be treated as an injury.

OR that the substance of the vaccine caused a trauma.

Others may have differing views and more expertise than I , but I would suggest a dose [one] of Bellis per 10m.

Wait and see if others chip in.

Hello Susanbenita,

I`m afraid a cancerous tumour can`t be properly treated online. Homeopathic treatment of tumours in animals will usually take a very long time and an egg-sized tumour can often be reduced to a pea-sized one. Treatment involves close monitoring by a hom.vet. or vet. homeopath using the constitutional remedy in ascending LM potencies and sometimes intercurrent remedies are necessary. If any carcinogenic/cancerous hereditary tendencies are involved a nosode (e.g. Carcinosin or Scirrhinum) is given to open the door for the constitutional remedy to make it possible for the latter to work properly.

Thank you for your replies. I'm just in a dilemna about finding a homeopathic vet here in Portugal (Algarve). Are there any online directories or listings of homeopathic vets that I may be able to try?

Many thanks for your time.

Hi Susanbenita, I don`t know for Portugal, since I live in the Netherlands, but perhaps one of the other members can help you with this??? Or perhaps you could ask one of the local vets. They sometimes cooperate with a vet.hom. or hom. vet. and of course it should be a professional who knows the latest treatments for this problem which won`t be easy, I`m afraid. Good luck with the search !
