There`s a general misunderstanding that remedies administered to animals should always only be given in water.

If you are not a qualified vet. homeopath, you can study books written by Dr. George Macleod, Dr. Don Hamilton, Dr. Wolff, Dr. Christopher Day, Dr. Richard Pitcairn, etc. and you will see that mainly dry dosing is advised in the first place. This has been done over a great many years (The famous Dr.Macleod even did this for nearly fifty years !).

Even if you do this (i.e. dry dosing) for several days at a stretch, under guidance of a professional, it usually won`t present any problems at all !

Empirical proof has shown that tablets and pellets/pillules/pills given dry even work better for some animals (Dr. Hamilton, page 88). Also that thousands and thousands of animals have been cured by dry dosing !

Only for (very) weak or sensitive animals diluting the remedy may be better to minimize any reactions or aggravations.

I am also often surprised that people give all kinds of remedies to their pets without sufficient knowledge of these remedies described in several Materia Medica and haven`t got a clue of e.g. the relationship of remedies i.e. which remedies follow each other well, which of them antidote or are even inimical (hostile/unfavourable) to each other, etc.

Please always see/consult a professional in case you actually don`t know exactly what you are doing to your companion !
