I posted a while ago about my cat's puking problem, but it quit when I switched her to Cat Chow Indoor Formula. Tonight she jumped from my shoulder when I was picking her up to feed her, and she hit her side hard on a bookshelf. She seemed fine and ran outside as normal, leaving my shoulder all cut up.
She's now moaning constantly, puking up a yellow/orange bile that looks almost like stomach acid. She sounds like she's dying, i'm so worried. She tries to eat it as it comes up, but if she pukes it up she leaves it. She is panting constantly, and trying to hide from us in the bathroom or trying to enter our rooms to hide under the bed.
Also, as she's puking she discharges. She pees and poops as she does it, and the poop is diarrhea like. Her weight is fine, and she drinks normally. She's 3 years old this winter.
She's a grey tabby, larger and longer than the average cat in this area. Both of our cats are of the larger breed, but of the shorter furred breeds. Sarah is about a half a foot tall on all fours and a foot long on all foors. Priss is slightly shorter. Sarah is the sick one, and she was most likely born from someone's purebreed cat who mixed with a mutt, as was why they would get rid of the poor kittens at only 4 weeks old and her pure breed attributes.
She's about through puking now, but she's still panting and moaning. She's laying in the hallway looking so ill...
Please help her, she's my baby =( We're really poor, but we love our cats. We can't afford raw diets, nor very much vets. But I want to help her, so I watch for your answers.
