Default Cerebellar Hypoplasia

Sounds like the kitten has cerebellar hypoplasia....This happens when the mother cat has been exposed to the feline panleukopenia (distemper) virus.

The virus damages an area of the brain known as the cerebellum which controls the ability to control muscles. Lack of co-ordination or an ataxia results.

I have a 7 month old kitten with this condition... She can't walk...just falls over...and in her case is also visually impaired (also viral damage)...

The only other obvious symptom is she bats\strikes at imaginary objects (maybe she is seeing shadows) and she also occasionally bites at the ground.

She is alert and does manage to move around. Very clean....making it to the litter pan... She is not suffering....having been born with the condition it is amazing to watch how she adapts...

Any thought or suggestions on homeopathic treatment would be appreciated... I've thought of Bell: Hyos: and Stram... Not sure about potency or frequency.

Thanking everyone in advance.
