Default underdevelped kitten

Hi there,

i'd really appreciate any help on my little kitten that is tiny for its age. it is over 3 months old and very small and frail. you can feel its ribcage easily and it has runny nose, watering eyes constantly. its legs are kinda bandy and not very strong and its not really able to groom or climb without getting claws stuck. It is very affectionate. it was born with left eye open and swollen, which then burst and was all pussy and has got alot better. there is always crusty yellow around nostrils and thick yellow discharge out nose and black stuff around eyes.
it eats well and drinks lots of water and likes milk.
it is scruffy and hair comes out easily when you brush it. it is such a cute little kitten but a bit smelly as it is not good at cleaning itself and its breath is a bit smelly. it hasn't managed the litter tray and is still going to the toilet where it wants. it doesn't run and jump and play like its sibling, who is also very small for its age but developing normally. they both have had the cat flu since christmas, lots of sneezing and runny eyes.

any ideas??

passkey has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Kitty

By the sound of it - "scruffy, untidy, smelly " you almost certainly need Sulphur
[ either go High say 10m [3 doses at 7 day intervals ] or go low say 3x , twice a day for a week and then wait a week to see what happens. Repeat as necessary.
This only applies if the kitty is hot - if it wants to get near a source of heat it need one of the cold sulphers .

I think Merc sol is indicated, esp. keeping in mind the discharge from nose. What're you doing about the cat flu? Since DECEMBER? (sorry, don't mean to sound judgmental - just want to know. BTW, my kitten responded v. well to Aconite, even several days after she got cat flu. Sulphur is the chronic of Aco., so maybe passkey has it right.)
