Post Cat puking

I found this site by a post on someones cat puking, so thought i'd post my own question (same topic).

My cat, http://www.jenspace.com/files/sarah2.jpg , has been puking for a while, but more often lately. I worm her regularly, and we also treat her for hairball. They recently redid the food we give her, Whiskas dry food, and we also give her Meow Mix hairball as directed on the bag.

Her puke used to have hair in it and it was wet and slimy. Now it's just like a moisened mess of barely chewed dry food. It merely looks like she swallowed some pieces and others were swollen from her stomach liquids, as if they had been soaked in water (we would soak the puppies dry food in water when they were about 4 weeks old). I am afraid that, because she keeps on her weight, her body is in starvation mode.

She's 3 years old, and lives in a house with another cat, 2 dogs, and 3 birds. She sometimes will get a hold of the dog food, and I know she can't digest that because she always pukes it up, but it's rare she'll eat the dog food. My mother gives each cat a half a can of wet food twice a day, and leaves a bowl of dry down all the time(as we're constantly in and out, and so might not be there to put food down at a given time). I tell her we should go completely one way, but she doesn't listen.

Any ideas? I have a vet appointment for tuesday, but am low on money so would like some tips on what to do, plus she HATES to go anywhere. Hisses and screams and the whole bit. U was thinking of putting her on moist food (not wet can food, but the moist stuff in the bag or plastic container) or I saw one person recommend raw? She's still her old self, sleeps inside a lot more than she used to though. Doesn't play as often either, mostly wants love and sleeps.

The other cat we haven't seen puke, but he seems thinner and is outside 80% of the time. He's been very orny, and only wants my brother to mess with him. Won't go in my mother's room either. He's also ALWAYS hungry, almost like he's not eating enough. We also sometimes buy them cat treats, usually the tartar control.

Default worming could be the problem

Too much toxic build-up from the wormers- that stuff stays in the systme and builds up.Consider a detoxifier like crabapple- a Bach Flower Essence form any health food store. 3 drops on food as needed- even every 5 minutes it will help to detoxify the system Also Whiskas, etc are the best \ quality of food- too many by-products, etc. Some cats won't even touch it knowing better than humans what's in it. Consider a raw foods diet- raw pureed chicken(remvoe fat, skin and bone and puree- pour boiling water over the meat to kill off parasites) add some raw gated vegetables like carrots finely grated, a little cottage cheese a multivitamin. Look up on the internet under raw foods diet-cats for some info on it.

Default detox your cat

hello
yes i agree with the last post about the detoxing of your cat.
when an animal vomits there is a sign that there is toxin, this can be from the meds, from flea collar, from pesticides in the garden, from prefab foods to preserve.
the easy way to detox is give your cat 'bentonite clay' internally mixed with some water.
it will pull all toxin out via its gut not removing the good things the cat needs .
