Lets wait a bit Dressie,

I would expect some of the itching skin problem to come up again and may need proper management.

So keep me posted on the developments...itching, ulcers, etc.

I'm delighted with the change.

Warm regards,
doctorleela

Hi!

I know this is a very old post.. Hopefully someone will be able to help me

My dog has ulcirated vagina wall... Its quite severe.. But she is not spayed.. She doesnt seem to strain after urinating but I am not entirely sure.. She does, however, seem to drag her behind when she rises.. At the moment she has had some scans and we are waiting to her the results... But I wanted to ask what do you think it is and how do you think I might be able to help you?

Thank you for any help or advise!!

I was really surprised to see this b/c she's acting normal in every way and I would think this must be uncomfortable. Doesn't seem to have to go outside to pee more than normal.

Don't know if this is important but she still does that peeing thing with submission or when she gets very excited to see one of us.

As far as jealousy..for instance when my husband comes home from work...I let her out the door and also I have a smaller older dog and they both go running and Midnight (the dog with the ulcers) tries to cut the other one off. She doens't want her to get to him and if we pay any attention to the other dog or bird..Midnight always tries to cut in for attention and she gets plenty anyways. If our neighbor's dog comes over...they used to play together as pups..now she beats the "poop" out of her and is really quite unnice to her old playmate.

I don't have calc/sulp so in the interim I'll get some.

I noticed when I checked her after making the first post there was a drop of urine about to be passed when at rest. So she may be passing small drops of urine as well.
