Default Cat loosing fur

Can anyone help? I have a 21 year old cat and the vet has prescribed tablets as she is loosing her fur and has quite a few bald patches although it doesn't seem to bother her, she's not licking or scratching herself. I've been told it is due to her age and stress. She also suffers from arthritis and is deaf. The only food she can eat is IAMS as anything else makes her sick and the tablets she has are also making her sick. If anyone can come up with a homepathic remedy I would love to give it a go.

Default Cat losing fur

Hello Ruth,

There are several homeopathic treatments possible, but usually under guidance of a vet. homeopath or hom. vet.

I`ll mention here a good general treatment which helps in many cases :

Natrum muriaticum 30c. One dose, twice daily for 8-14 days and repeat after 10-15 days, but only if there has been improvement and further treatment is likely to solve this problem.

One dose is 1 tablet or 3 coarse pellets to be administered DRY in mouth. Don`t touch the remedy with your hands or as little as possible. Give them straight from the cap of the bottle or clean spoon.

If this treatment doesn`t work ask additional advice !

Good luck with the treatment ! Wim (William)
