Default What is the best way to give herbs

What is the best way to give herbs? As a tea, an extract, or in powdered form. What is the most effective or the most potent?

Either as a tincture or as a tea. They are more quickly absorbed into the body in this way.

I have taken herbs before and was given the herbs in a tincture by my herbalist, but having said that, there was a mixture of about 5 different herbs, so in that case probably the tincture was better. All I had to do was to drink it in warm water three times daily.

Tea is ok too though.
