one of my cats, he is 6 years old, suddenly got sick around two weeks ago. we took him to the vets and after the x-ray she told us that he had a severe case of constipation and so he was admitted at the vets. After two days, he came home but we noticed that he couldn't see very well he bumped in to things so I took him to the vet's again. She examined his eyes and told us that there was no response from his side and she called a specialist and he also confirmed that my cat won't ever see again. So what I want to know is can cats suddenly go blind? My vet gave a me a report and its stated there that the medicine that he got were not in any way responsible for his loss of vision. Is there any other way in which he may have lost his vision? please, it would be great if some one helped me.
