Hep C
Hi Morag, I've treated one 50+ year old hispanic male with hep C but, because he came to me so late in the disease stage, my goal was to just keep him alive and out of the hospital emergency room until a transplant could be arranged. Prior to becomming my patient he had been rushed to the hospital near death twice which had the effect of moving him up on the transplant list. Once homeopathic treatment began he was able to remain out of the hospital but his liver function continued its downward spiral. The homeopathic remedy was problematic as you mention because in order to stay on the transplant list, his only hope for a future, allopathic treatment was a must even though it muddied my treatment picture. He lived the few months it took to find a suitable liver and survived the operation but had problems with the anti-rejection drugs and increasingly severe depression. His health declined and Hep C reappeared and the cycle began all over again. Although he was still alive the last I saw him about a year after moving to Canada (he was no longer a patient) his liver was deteriorating once again. I would like to hear of some happier outcomes.
