Default Lighten skin color

I hv had enquiries in the past and one only yesterday asking whether
in homeopathy there is any remedy that would lighten the skin color
of an infant baby girl.

I am wondering and curious if indeed there may be something to lighten
skin color of an infant?

Anyone any ideas? Vert-a, Ars, Calc -p

Hi Jeff,

Homeopathy treats *illness*, not fashion!

I think first you have to ask why the baby's skin is dark? If because
of an illness or disorder, then yes, perhaps homeopathy can lighten it.

If simply because she has genes for dark skin (non-pathological), then
I would think it's the parents (or neighbors or whatever) that need a
remedy. :-)

I know there might be some social reasons, based on attitudes, why someone
might want to lighten a baby's skin. However, since darker skin color is
not a symptom of any disease, I don't expect that a remedy is likely to
lighten it.

A family story:

My grandparents had 4 children.

Right after birth he would ask:

"Does it (the grammatical gender of child etc. is neutral in German -
and we always use the grammatical gender) squint." "No".

"Does it have read hair?" "No".

"Then it's ok."

Only after that did he inquire about the sex of the baby:-)

I like the (or neighbors...) bit.
I'm afraid it is cosmetic, Shannon. I have almost removed
birthmarks (nevus) with homeopathy - lightened it to a degree
that it is almost not visible.
A young man had a black patch on his rt cheek. Now, after
three years it has almost blended with his skin colour.
Though he does not take homeopathic meds anymore, he
still uses tissue salts No. 28
