Kerry,
I'm sorry you feel I was questioning your credibility. All I was saying is I believe your case and did not need to see photos. As for the pig, I haven't heard much of rescuing them and wasn't sure if this pig was on a farm, raised to be eventually eaten. Is that what a frankenstein pig is bred for? As for the pig or any animal's vital force, other than audio/visual info and taking it's vital signs and physical exam, how can you accurately determine a pig's vital force? Are there constituional remedies for animals? For example, is he not eating, drinking, oinking, playing in mud because of an acute illness or a chronic condition? I know a few people who use veterinary homeopaths and they all use multiple and/or combo remedies made especially for pets. One vet, in an emergency situation, recommended homeopathic digitalis for a very old dog in cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, it couldn't be obtained before the dog had to be put to sleep. Susan I am not in the habit of falsifying images Susan, nor would I be capable of doing it even if I had the intention. At the end of the day if you choose to have a closed mind that is up to you. I take it that you do want to see the images? He lived for a further three years and was put to sleep due to joint problems. Joint problems are a major issue with pigs of his size as they have been bred to be frankenstien animals. He was a rescue animal that came into my sanctuary and was ten years of age when he was put to sleep, which is a good age for such a large pig. The treatment wasn't classical because he was given multiple remedies, to be taken on a daily basis, without any consideration as to the reaction of his vital force. At the time I knew little about homeopathy and just gave the remedies as directed by a veterinary homeopath. Kerry |

Hi Susan
As with any being we go off their reaction to the remedy, be that good or bad, physical or emotional. With some animals that I treat (I now treat my own animals using the Classical approach: one remedy, using the totality of symptoms and repeat dosing, going off reactions to the initial dose), it will be an emotional reaction and with some it will a physical reaction. Animals are no different to humans in that they display symptoms on the physical and the mental/emotional level. With regard to pigs, yes, they are bred to put on maximum weight and have limbs that aren't capable of holding that weight; it is the same problem with turkeys. Man's greed again unfortunately. It is very difficult to find vets that use the single remedy approach but there are some out there doing good work. Edward De Beukelaer (sp?) has written about his experience of training as a non-classical hom and having limited success, then retraining using the classical approach, finally succeeding and becoming encouraged to learn more, instead of giving up on homeopathy all together. Dear Irene,
I really enjoy your posts about treating animals. I have had success treating our family's dogs and cats. I agree first hand observation is great but I agree asking the right questions can be just give you a successful results as well. My sisters dog Tammy survived a nasty encounter with a car, severe blood loss, and orthopaedic surgery only to end up with a painful stiff leg. She enjoyed running on the beach but it would make her hind leg painful and stiff. My sister tried a series of anti inflammatory injections to no avail. It was Rhus Tox that allowed her run on the beach again without pain and stiffness all based on my sister's description of her symptoms. I now happily have over the years many other success stories treating our own dogs and aging cat. I enjoy treating them they respond quickly and are very grateful and non complaining patients. Best wishes Rochelle.H. |
