Hahnemann did not use "potentized" magnet!
The first homeopath to do so was Samuel Swan.
(Swan, 1815 1893, was an American homeopath known for using the
fluxion method of potentizing remedies and for the introduction of
Nosodes and other remedies, for example lac caninum, into the materia medica).

Potentized magnet is prepared by triturating milk sugar which has
been exposed to a strong magnetic field.
