Future uncertain for homoeopathy students

But a huge disparity has occurred between the original
examination schedule and the current situation. According to the
printed examination schedule, the first BHMS examination for
students of 2003-04 batch, who have been admitted under CU in
October 2003, should have been conducted in December 2004 but
the examination commenced on 6 December 2005. The results of
this exam was declared in May 2006 delaying the entire academic
calendar by one and a-half years. Similarly the next exam, which
was supposed to be held in November 2006, started on 16 January
2007 and the results are yet to be published.

There Should Be More Homeopathy In NHS, Not Less

What we are witnessing here is a vendetta by a small group of
doctors and scientists. It is quite extraordinary that Primary
Care Trusts may be influenced by them. We should all be alarmed
by this abuse of status and power. The homeopathic hospitals
provide a unique service that is patient-centred, of the highest
standards of clinical excellence and fills many of the so-called
"effectiveness gaps" that exist despite the advances of modern
medicine. Their driving aim is to help patients, not to con
them. And they actually save the NHS money by helping many
patients reduce their consumption of conventional drugs.
